Overview

The Customer Success Manager will manage and expand relationships with military and governmental agencies across Japan, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction while maximizing the value of Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions.

In Short

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for customers.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Share insights on key accounts and contribute to strategies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management.
  • Working knowledge of GIS and remote sensing technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Japanese government agencies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
