Global Safety and Project Manager, Services - Remote

Overview

As a Global Safety and Project Manager at Hempel, you will drive the Safety agenda within Services, developing and implementing a Service Safety Strategy while optimizing service delivery in diverse customer environments.

In Short

• Lead the development of a Service Safety Strategy.
• Ensure safety initiatives address the challenges of dynamic customer sites.
• Oversee safety excellence programs and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate on-site safety audits and implement improvements.
• Provide HSE leadership and training across the service organization.
• Lead projects to standardize and optimize safety processes.
• Develop measurable performance indicators for safety.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
• Report directly to the Service Projects and Process Director.

Requirements

• Experience in QHSE, preferably in shipyards or factories.
• Academic background in QHSE.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Experience in services, technical, or coatings industries.
• Strong leadership skills in HSE issues.
• Proficient in documentation and data analysis.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
