Overview

Hempel Foundation is seeking a Communications Officer to elevate the discussion around nature and rewilding in Denmark through engaging storytelling and content creation.

In Short

• Develop and enhance Vildmarken.dk as a national platform for nature and rewilding.
• Produce content in video, text, and photo formats from various locations in Denmark.
• Coordinate and publish content across digital platforms, including social media.
• Collaborate closely with the communications team and the communications manager.
• Support colleagues in communication, press, and social media efforts.
• Engage in fieldwork and office work in Copenhagen.
• Contribute to the growth of the Foundation's channels to disseminate knowledge and research.
• Be responsible for newsletters and other communication outputs.
• Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on biodiversity.
• Flexibility in work hours with a balance between field and office work.

Requirements

• Relevant education in communication, journalism, or similar fields.
• 5+ years of experience in digital content production.
• Ability to work with text, images, and video.
• Experience in producing content for digital platforms.
• Fluency in Danish and English, especially in writing.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and seize opportunities.
• Experience in video production is required.
• Driver's license is necessary; having a personal car is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and innovative mindset.
