Senior Communications Officer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Communications Officer works to design and implement strategic communications to achieve outcomes aligned with Women’s Link’s mission, impact, institutional identity and positioning.

In Short

• Develop long-term communications strategies.
• Manage the implementation of communications strategies.
• Oversee the strategic creation and use of narratives.
• Identify and lead practices for rapid responses.
• Supervise the Communications Associate and external consultants.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with allies and journalists.
• Represent Women's Link at meetings and events.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant communications experience.
• At least 2 years of people and/or project management experience.
• Professional degree in communications or related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to feminist and anti-racist values.
