Overview

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Accessibility Remediation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Accessibility Remediation Specialist, contribute expert system analysis, design, code-level changes and documentation to ensure information and communication technology (ICT) products meet the United States Access Board’s Section 508 Standards.

In Short

  • Review Section 508 Compliance Audit Reports for various applications.
  • Prototype, demonstrate, and document remediation solutions.
  • Verify implemented remediation solutions using automated tools and manual testing.
  • Support conducting and documenting Section 508 compliance audits.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Provide technical audit support and virtual demonstrations.
  • Prioritize remediation efforts as directed by government stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple audit assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Deep knowledge of Section 508 compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining a public trust clearance.
  • Experience with assistive technology tools such as JAWS, Fusion, and Dragon.
  • Development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Java.
  • Extensive experience in accessible development techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills for compliance audits.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
