Overview

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Customer Service Technician for the support of the Veterans Benefits Management System at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will assist with escalated tickets from the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Tier 1 and support all VBMS users ranging from entry level employees to supervisors.

In Short

  • Provide support for the Veterans Benefits Management System.
  • Assist with escalated tickets from Tier 1 support.
  • Engage in daily operational calls with stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot PC and browser issues.
  • Use ServiceNow to track and manage issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of processed information.
  • Experience with enterprise-level applications required.
  • ITIL and ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills needed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Working knowledge of web-based applications.
  • Experience with database management tools.
  • Specialized training in system configuration.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
