Outreach Co-Op Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Outreach Specialist will provide outreach and engagement case management services to chronically homeless individuals in Boston, working both on the streets and in an office setting.

• Experience with substance abuse and mental health counseling is preferred.

Requirements

• Associates degree or 60 college credits in a human services field.
• Interest in certification related to substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience working with homeless populations is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Knowledge of case management for vulnerable populations.
• Experience with client management software is a plus.
• Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Training in motivational interviewing is preferred.
• Exposure to mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
