Technician, Exterior Lighting and Signage - Remote

Overview

The Technician for Exterior Lighting and Signage is responsible for repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and cleaning signs and exterior lighting at company locations. This role requires independent work and travel within Florida.

In Short

• Travel required to various Pilot Flying J locations.
• Inspect and repair electrical signage and lighting.
• Replace electrical equipment including ballasts, lamps, and fixtures.
• Complete documentation for repairs using digital devices.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with team members.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and company vehicles.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in regular safety training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years of commercial electrical experience required.
• Electrical journeyman license preferred.
• DOT medical care required.
• Experience with bucket/aerial lifts at heights required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
