Overview

The Claims Adjuster, Commercial Auto will ensure quality claim handling by investigating, negotiating, and resolving both first-party and third-party property damage and bodily injury claims. This role requires expertise in commercial auto coverage and multi-state experience, including at least 2 years handling Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims.

In Short

  • Handles all assigned claims promptly and effectively.
  • Establish and execute appropriate action plans for claim resolution.
  • Communicate with insureds, agents, claimants, and other partners.
  • Evaluate and resolve bodily injury claims of varying complexity.
  • Ensure claims are handled in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Identify claim handling trends and communicate findings.
  • Assist in providing claim status to agents and insureds.
  • Work to continuously improve claim operations.
  • 3-5 years of Commercial Auto claim handling experience required.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Commercial Auto claim handling experience.
  • 2 years of experience handling Personal Injury Protection claims.
  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge in claim adjudication in multiple states.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite Tools and Microsoft Office suite.
