Senior Accountant II - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant II at Pie Insurance, you will play a crucial role in building out the accounting function, implementing new financial systems, and ensuring accurate financial statements.

In Short

• Drive accounting operations and participate in the monthly close process.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Improve existing accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and footnotes.
• Partner with the Finance team for analysis of historical results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Advanced communication skills.
• Intermediate problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and collaboration tools.
• Active CPA or pursuing certification preferred.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills.
