Overview

This role is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of the end-to-end revenue cycle, with a specialized focus on optimizing collections and minimizing bad debt within the Workers' Compensation and Commercial Auto lines of business.

  • Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including billing and collections.
  • Develop and implement collections strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for collections.
  • Manage relationships with third-party collection agencies.
  • Oversee collections-related litigation and settlement activities.
  • Identify root causes of premium leakage and lead process improvements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance systems.
  • Mentor and develop revenue cycle personnel.
  • 10+ years of experience in collections or revenue cycle management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in collections or litigation operations.
  • Extensive experience managing third-party collection vendors.
  • Deep understanding of the premium billing cycle.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in insurance billing systems and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup insurance environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to leverage technology for process efficiency.
