Overview

PFCS is seeking an experienced Fire Investigator to examine fire scenes, collect evidence, and report findings, with a focus on establishing the origin and cause of fires.

Requirements

• Certification as Fire Investigator (IAAI or CCAI preferred).
• Experience in expert testimony or related training.
• Ability to use various tools and travel as needed.
• Preferred degree in Fire Science or related field.
• Strong self-direction and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to conduct onsite inspections.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.
• Experience with internet research tools.
