Frontend Engineer - Remote

Overview

PermitFlow’s mission is to streamline and simplify construction permitting in the $1.6 trillion United States construction market. Our software reduces time to permit, supporting permitting end-to-end including permit research, application preparation, submission, and monitoring.

In Short

• Work alongside the CTO and engineering team to develop a construction permit application.
• Define the product and engineering roadmap with founders and users.
• Own and ship features from inception to implementation.
• Develop flexible workflow tooling for permitting.
• Build exceptional user experiences for applying and managing permits.
• Mentor engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Strong experience in professional front-end development, ideally in startups.
• Significant experience with React, Typescript, Node.js, and Postgres.
• Attention to detail and a drive for excellence.
• Experience with technically challenging cross-functional projects.
• Ability to execute valuable projects autonomously.
• Customer-first mindset and interest in user feedback.
