Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager at PerfectServe will lead financial reporting processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support revenue recognition for SaaS models, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing healthcare communication.

In Short

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own revenue accounting for subscription and usage-based SaaS models.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting workflows.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Support FP&A with actuals and variance analysis.
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience required.
• Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition.
• Experience with modern accounting systems like NetSuite.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset desired.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience with ASC 606 and subscription billing.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
