In Short

• The Accounting Manager will support the accounting function by project managing initiatives to improve systems and processes while supporting day-to-day accounting requirements.
• Build accounting system financial reporting and improve sales tax reporting and compliance.
• Support data integrations across multiple accounting systems and drive efficient accounting closes.
• Support external audits and internal controls.
• Design, implement, and maintain NetSuite workflows, tables, billing schedules, and revenue recognition rules.
• Work with consultants and accounting team members in implementing SOX 404A documentation.
• Provide solutions for complex accounting scenarios, including multi-entity billing.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual work and error risk.
• Drive change management for new accounting features and integrations.
• Engage with stakeholders to earn their trust and maximize growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of high-growth accounting experience, preferably in medical device companies.
• Strong expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition and US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience as a NetSuite power user or administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with FDA regulations and HCP reporting requirements preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with structured data.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in U.S. taxes, including Federal and multistate income taxes.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills.
• A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
