Compliance & Risk Manager - Remote

Overview

The Per Scholas Legal and Compliance Team is seeking a Compliance & Risk Manager to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the organizational risk tolerance profile and broader compliance initiatives within the organization.

In Short

• Support development and maintenance of Organizational Risk Tolerance Profile.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop compliance performance reports and risk frameworks.
• Conduct internal audits and manage Corrective Action Plans.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations.
• Coordinate training programs on compliance requirements.
• Work with development teams on compliance challenges.
• Assist in preparing compliance-related reports.
• Support vendor compliance during procurement.
• Other related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Risk Management, Business, or related field (Masters Preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in compliance or risk management.
• Experience in managing risk frameworks across functions.
• Proficient in risk management software.
• Ability to analyze complex regulations.
• Strong understanding of government funding and WIOA compliance.
• Experience conducting internal audits.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with confidential information.
