The Market Risk Analyst role exists to ensure Pepperstone’s market risk is monitored and controlled to the best of our ability.

In Short

• Proactively monitor market risk exposure across asset classes.
• Minimise group market risk through the trading of financial instruments.
• Analyse flow across several asset classes effectively.
• Engage in Market Risk and Trading Operations projects.
• Liaise with prime brokers and liquidity providers.
• Manage continuous rolling of spot FX and metals positions.
• Support efficient operations of client trading environments.
• Prepare reports/analysis for management.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.

Requirements

• Relevant certifications in Business or Finance.
• Solid market risk and trading experience.
• Exceptional understanding of market risk management processes.
• Highly numerate with data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to ongoing changes.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make independent decisions.
