Overview

PayNearMe is looking for a Principal Developer Experience Engineer focused on AI enablement to enhance developer productivity and satisfaction. This hands-on role involves building and maintaining tools and workflows essential for developers, while also advocating for responsible AI integration in the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with Ruby and Go; Python experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cursor IDE.
• Proven track record of AI-driven engineering practices.
• Excellent communication and consensus-building skills.
• Strong product mindset and commitment to data-driven decisions.
• Experience in teaching or training is a significant plus.
• CS background preferred.
