Developer Experience Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role focuses on improving the Developer Experience by creating tools and workflows that enhance productivity for developers working in the gaming industry, particularly chess.

In Short

• Work on internal tooling used by developers daily.
• Build systems, workflows, and automations to enhance Developer Experience.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and maintain tooling.
• Keep front-end dependencies updated and resolve security issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript with ES6+ features.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js and its native modules.
• Experience with front-end module bundlers like webpack and rollup.
• Basic knowledge of AST manipulation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Understanding of UX design.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
• A sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Chess player and lifelong learner.
