Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a fast-growing fintech company, PayNearMe is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Accounting Analyst to monitor daily money movement activities, assist with reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements.

In Short

• Monitor daily money movement activities and provide insights.
• Execute daily and weekly reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Investigate and address reconciliation issues.
• Collaborate with teams to automate workflows.
• Contribute to the development of operational processes.
• Ensure proper controls and segregation of duties.
• Create relationships with data providers and clients.
• Demonstrate curiosity in product innovation.
• Understand financial concepts related to reconciliation.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Experience in a Fintech Payments Company is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
