Overview

As a Legal Counsel at PayDo, you will leverage your expertise in international financial regulations to ensure the company's operations adhere to all relevant legal standards.

In Short

• Drive and manage financial licensing processes in the EU, UK, and other regions.
• Maintain and open correspondent and operational bank accounts.
• Handle complex legal requests and regulatory inquiries.
• Stay updated on applicable financial regulations and implement necessary changes.
• Update compliance programs according to regulatory requirements.
• Manage regulatory reporting and audits.
• Oversee company governance policies and regulatory updates.
• Lead licensing processes for expansion into new regions.
• Draft various legal agreements.
• Serve as a liaison with local law firms, auditors, and regulators.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in regulated companies.
• Understanding of international corporate law and EU licensing principles.
• Proven experience in enhancing compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Experience with international bank accounts and regulatory communication.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a plus.
• Master's degree in law.
