Project Accountant - Remote

Overview

Pavago is seeking a Project Accountant to join our client’s team. This role is critical in managing all accounting-related functions for assigned projects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining financial accuracy.

• Manage all accounting functions for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance and maintain financial accuracy.
• Process vendor invoices and reconcile statements.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with project managers for accurate billing.
• Handle cost variances and analyze discrepancies.
• Manage construction-specific billing requirements.
• Maintain vendor records and financial transactions.
• Create customer invoices and manage collections.
• Identify improvements in accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of accounting experience or an accounting degree.
• Experience in construction accounting or job cost accounting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Timberscan Titanium is a plus.
• Ability to work closely with project managers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to start with AP data entry.
• Ability to work within 8 AM - 6 PM CST.
