Project Accountant I - Remote

Overview

Dudek is a leading environmental, planning, and engineering firm that helps public and private clients plan, design, and build projects that improve communities’ built and natural infrastructure. We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team.

In Short

• Be a resource and assist Project Managers in maintaining the life cycle of the project.
• Set up projects, extra work orders, and amendments in Deltek Vision.
• Assist with the creation and processing of contracts.
• Review contracts for accounting specific requirements.
• Review project labor and expenses for accuracy.
• Follow through on all billing related issues.
• Work closely with Project Managers for financial reporting.
• Invoice clients monthly.
• Prepare accounts receivable statements.
• Handle project audits as they arise.

Requirements

• College degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and excellent follow through.
• Ability to think critically and problem solve.
• Highly motivated to progress to the next level.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
