Project Accountant II - Remote

Overview

The Project Accountant II plays a key role in supporting the financial health of projects and advising Project Managers through accurate tracking, reporting, and billing. This position is remote, with the option to work from one of the local offices.

In Short

• Coordinate the full life cycle of assigned projects with increasing autonomy.
• Assist the legal team with contract filing and processing.
• Assist with the creation and configuration of new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Organize project information and maintain documentation.
• Review labor, expense, and AP postings for accurate coding.
• Proactively communicate with Project Managers for timely billing.
• Prepare and process moderately complex monthly invoices.
• Run project-related reports in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Maintain strong organizational habits and manage multiple deadlines.
• Uphold firm values, ethics, and a culture of inclusivity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and solve routine problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and active personal automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
