Overview

The Employee Benefits and Well-Being Specialist Sr is responsible for implementing and administering cost-effective and regulatory compliant benefits and wellness plans, programs, and policies that support organizational strategies and practices.

In Short

  • Supports the design and implementation of benefits and wellness plans.
  • Interprets FMLA, state-sponsored leave, and ADA implications.
  • Counsels employees on leave options.
  • Works with vendors to resolve service issues.
  • Partners with HR and leaders to provide competitive benefits.
  • Administers various benefit plans including health and welfare.
  • Communicates benefit plans and policies.
  • Provides guidance on benefits administration.
  • Ensures compliance with ERISA, ACA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • Participates in benefits surveys and benchmarking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • SHRM/CEBS/CBP certification preferred.
  • Typically, 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience with UKG Pro preferred.
  • Customer focus and priority setting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Collaboration abilities.
