Human Resources Intern - Remote

Overview

Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking individuals to serve as Human Resource Interns for the organization. In this role, the primary responsibility is to support the Human Resources team, assisting with creating policies and procedures, onboarding volunteers/interns, and volunteer engagement.

In Short

• Assist with developing recruiting strategies.
• Assist with schedules to obtain top talent that aligns with the roles.
• Assist in the interviewing and onboarding process.
• Revising and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Assisting with developing and implementing volunteer engagement initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing contact with program participants.
• Monitor progress towards program requirements.
• Provide individualized support as needed.
• Estimated time commitment: 9-10 hours/week.
• Term limit: 4-6 months (can be extendable).

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields.
• Must be classified as a Junior or Senior.
• Dependable and enthusiastic with a go-getter attitude.
• Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Commitment to collaborative decision-making.
