Overview

The SCA-UXO Technician III position at Parsons involves using expertise in unexploded ordnance (UXO) to help make the world a safer place by performing reconnaissance, classification, and removal of UXO from affected communities.

In Short

• Perform duties of a UXO Technician III as per guidelines.
• Supervise on-site destruction or demilitarization of munitions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a UXO or EOD Technician.
• Ability to meet the criteria for UXO Technician I and II.
• Knowledge of explosives safety and transportation regulations.
• Experience in supervising field operations.
• Strong understanding of military munitions and UXO identification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Familiarity with risk and hazard analysis methodologies.
• Licensing for operating vehicles moving explosives.
