MEP Quality Assurance Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The MEP Quality Assurance Coordinator will oversee and ensure the quality of MEP systems in the LRT project, involving inspections, testing for compliance, and ensuring efficient system functionality.

In Short

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of MEP installations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inspections and quality control activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to address quality issues.
• Identify quality issues and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
• Provide training and guidance on quality assurance processes.
• Work in various outdoor conditions in Edmonton.
• Travel to different project sites as required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance for MEP systems.
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
• Ability to negotiate construction site terrains.
• Experience in transportation infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
