In Short

• Ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices and accurate recording of all accounts receivable transactions in accounting systems.
• Manage the accounts receivable aging report, identifying overdue accounts and prioritizing collections efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to proactively address billing concerns.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances, negotiate payment plans, and escalate issues to management.
• Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes and discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly accounts receivable reports, including aging analysis and KPIs such as DSO.
• Identify trends and patterns in customer payment behavior, and recommend strategies to improve collections.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential collections issues and work towards timely resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business systems analysis, with exposure to administrative tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in a business field, preferably with an accounting major.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Have a basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot) and Accounting Systems (e.g., Netsuite, Maxio) is preferred.
