Accounts Receivable Team Lead - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Team Lead to oversee and guide our AR team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient collections, client satisfaction, and process optimization. The AR Team Lead will manage a team of AR Representatives, monitor performance, and implement strategies to improve collections and overall operational efficiency.

In Short

• Lead a team of AR Representatives to achieve collections goals.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to enhance productivity within a 10-person team.
• Assign accounts strategically in collaboration with the AR Manager to optimize collections efforts.
• Monitor team time tracking, address issues, and conduct analysis to improve efficiency.
• Generate and analyze aging reports to track outstanding balances and collections progress.
• Attend client meetings, maintain relationships, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams, including sales and accounting, to resolve payment discrepancies and streamline workflows.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve AR workflows and efficiency.
• Manage the internal knowledge base and create training programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders, including the AR Manager, detailing team performance and goal achievement.
• Manage ad-hoc projects assigned by the AR Manager, ensuring timely completion.
