Head of Legal - UK - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Legal to lead the legal function and provide strategic counsel across all areas of the UK business.

In Short

• Act as Legal business partner for the UK business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and NDAs.
• Prepare bid documents and tender responses.
• Advise on legal, regulatory, and risk-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with UK law and regulations.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
• Oversee dispute resolution and litigation.
• Support HR with employment law issues.
• Provide training on legal best practices.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years’ PQE.
• Experience in corporate and/or commercial law.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with public procurement regulations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially-minded and solutions-focused approach.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong personal motivation and organisational skills.
• Experience within the UK software industry is ideal.
