Overview

The Parallel Wireless Professional Services organization is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to engage in remote network monitoring and KPI reporting, interfacing with service provider customers and internal teams.

In Short

  • Part of a 24x7 remote network monitoring team.
  • Responsible for KPI and technical reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify reporting requirements.
  • Deliver reports to internal teams.
  • Document methodologies for recurring reports.
  • Implement automations for report generation.
  • Assist in presenting technical analysis to customers.
  • Understand system management across various network technologies.
  • Perform first level technical support during monitoring.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of technical support experience in RAN.
  • Experience presenting KPIs to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
  • Experience in RAN or RF Engineering is a plus.
  • Knowledge of 5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM technologies.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN and TCP/IP.
  • Unix/Linux systems knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
