Overview

The Senior Software Engineer - Frontend will strategize, design, and execute the user interface and experience for a single-page application dedicated to early wildfire detection, contributing to a mission-driven company focused on improving fire response.

In Short

Lead the development of new features for a wildfire detection application.
Maintain and enhance the existing codebase for optimization.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality.
Champion best practices in coding standards and accessibility.
Evaluate new technologies for project alignment.
Prioritize and address technical debt in the codebase.
Debug and resolve issues in React applications.
Integrate RESTful APIs for frontend-backend communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
Must be located in the Pacific or Mountain time zone.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, and related technologies.
Experience with Design Systems and component libraries.
Effective communication skills within a team environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
