Overview

As the Director of Platform Product Manager at Panopto, you will lead the development of the next generation of our audio video learning platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.

In Short

• Define the vision and roadmap for shared platform services.
• Build the Learning Platform Roadmap with AI-enabled services.
• Drive architectural alignment with Engineering leadership.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for platform health and performance.
• Act as the internal voice of the learning platform.
• Engage with customers for feedback on roadmap efforts.
• Assist in evaluating technology integration partnerships.
• Support M&A reviews and due diligence for potential targets.
• Communicate platform capabilities and trade-offs effectively.
• Work in a fast-growing, private equity-backed environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with 3 years in B2B SaaS.
• Proven understanding of complex technical architectures.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AI services is a significant plus.
• Prior experience in EdTech or L&D sectors is advantageous.
• Experience in evaluating technology partnerships.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
