Head of Future IT - Remote

Overview

Shape the digital future of an international fashion company! Our partner is an internationally operating fashion multichannel retailer in the Nuremberg area. With over 3,700 employees, including around 200 in IT, they are driving the development of 23 online shops and the digital transformation of the entire company.

The company is in the midst of one of the largest transformation projects in its history - as the Head of Future IT (Program Manager), you will play a central role in the strategic planning and management of IT transformation projects and actively shape the company's technological future.

In Short

• Responsible for successful planning, implementation, and management of all IT projects.
• Oversee IT program and portfolio management and lead complex projects, ideally in an international corporate environment.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to identify requirements early and integrate them into the project landscape.
• Identify dependencies, synergies, and optimization potentials within the project landscape.
• Coordinate change, marketing, and communication measures in close collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Work closely with national and international service providers and manage them effectively within near- and offshoring models.

Requirements

• Experience in IT program and portfolio management as well as leading complex projects, ideally in an international setting.
• A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to align IT projects with the business success of our partner.
• Strong analytical skills to identify challenges early and develop practical, well-thought-out solutions.
• Team spirit and assertiveness – you enjoy working together but are not afraid to make decisions and drive projects forward.
• Ideally, project experience in the eCommerce sector and a good sense of how digital solutions can be successfully implemented there.
