Overview

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in customer security transformation.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas with strategic technical account plans.
• Conduct discovery to understand customer needs and articulate key imperatives.
• Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills through effective presentations.
• Lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices.
• Orchestrate resources to ensure a cohesive strategy.

Requirements

• Understanding of data networking and cloud architectures.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions.
• Prior experience in a pre-sales role is required.
• Ability to create and deliver technical presentations.
• Experience in selling or managing network security and cloud security solutions.
• Partner with Customer Support for successful implementation.
• Experience with complex sales processes preferred.
• Proficient in English and German.
