Overview

The Principal Consultant in Unit 42 will work across proactive cybersecurity domains including Cloud Security, Security Operations, Cyber Risk Management, and AI in cybersecurity, delivering consulting outcomes for clients.

• Lead consulting efforts in cybersecurity across multiple domains.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting.
• Deep technical knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR/XDR tools.
• Experience in cloud security advisement and risk assessments.

• Ability to travel as needed to meet business demands.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP and GIAC.
• Understanding of cyber risk frameworks and industry standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting.
• Experience managing teams and client relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong external presence through public speaking or publications.
• Ability to understand PANW products and build relationships across functions.
