Overview

The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the invoice to cash process and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the billing workflow. This role involves managing billing operations, resolving discrepancies, improving billing systems, and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

• Oversee and manage billing operations and monitor operational/financial workflows.
• Analyze accounts receivable (A/R) data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Partner with sales and customer service to resolve billing inquiries.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounts receivable processes and develop solutions.
• Generate billing reports with actionable insights for senior management.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company policies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance invoicing systems.
• Train, supervise, and support invoicing and collections staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Billing Manager or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Experience in Software and service contract invoicing.
• Knowledge of Sage contract module invoicing preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding leadership and supervisory abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
