Senior Operations/Supply Chain Manager at DTC Ecommerce Brand - Remote

Overview

This role is designed for a senior operations or supply chain professional ready to step into broader strategic ownership and operate at a Head of Operations level.

In Short

• Own and manage the full supply chain lifecycle, from demand planning to final delivery.
• Build and refine inventory forecasting and purchasing strategies using real-time sales and projection data.
• Plan and execute purchase orders (POs) to maintain optimal stock levels while avoiding stockouts or excess inventory.
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasting to ensure operational sustainability.
• Lead communication with manufacturers and shipping partners to ensure production timelines and delivery schedules are met.
• Continuously negotiate pricing, timelines, and payment terms with suppliers to improve margins and cash efficiency.
• Coordinate with 3PL partners to manage inventory flow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational accuracy.
• Partner with the customer service team to ensure clear communication around product availability and delivery timelines.
• Create structured, digestible reporting for internal decision-making and stakeholder visibility.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable systems and processes across operations.

• Proven experience in operations or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience working with manufacturers and shipping partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with 3PL coordination.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to create clear and structured reports.
• Experience in a DTC e-commerce environment is a plus.
• Leadership skills and a desire to grow into a leadership role.
