Overview

PagerDuty is looking for an analytically curious, detail-oriented Associate Commercial Analyst to support our Commercial business—our long tail of 14,000+ customers. This role will dig into trends and insights, analyze performance to surface suggestions and plays, and serve as a key point person to help us understand current performance, forecast results, and analyze market conditions.

In Short

  • Own analytics for tracking and reporting for the Commercial business across acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Provide stakeholders with dashboards and reports on sales performance, customer engagement, and funnel metrics, identifying key insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Analyze dashboards, surface insights, and contribute recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Track the impact of implemented recommendations on performance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide data-based insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support strategy, implementation, and reporting of A/B testing and experimentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in business analytics through coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tasks and work with increasing autonomy.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
