Overview

As a Database Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining robust database systems that support our global operations.

• Configure, install, and maintain z/OS DB2 database systems.
• Manage user access and enforce data security standards.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Support application development teams with DB2 expertise.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of z/OS.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in JCL, TSO, SDSF, JES2, ISPF.
• Experience with DB2 Utilities: Reorg, Copy, Runstats, Load, Unload, Recovery, ReBuild.
• Familiarity with IBM QMF, SPUFI, DB2 Admin, and ISV tools.
• Expertise in DB2 Backup and Recovery.
• Experience with DB2 Single and Datasharing systems.
• Proven ability in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on support for application development teams.
