Overview

The People Operations Specialist will support the greater People Operations team, optimizing processes that support Owner’s rapid growth and lays the foundation for the future. This position will closely collaborate with teams across the business to implement best practices and processes for People Operations to drive operational excellence and team member experience across the entire lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding.

In Short

  • Support the new hire onboarding process.
  • Drive employee engagement & recognition initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS.
  • Support the development and implementation of People Ops policies.
  • Provide administrative support and related responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with all departments at Owner.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a People Operations support role.
  • HR/People Operations certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HR tech stack, preferably Rippling HRIS & Lattice.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Experience in a startup environment supporting a global workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Understanding of labor laws and HR policies in the US.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and find creative solutions.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective at managing deadlines.
