Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Owkin, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a robust research platform, enabling data scientists and researchers to focus on advancing scientific discoveries.

• Coordinate full lifecycle of system administration and site reliability engineering.
• Manage a team of 6 engineers, overseeing recruitment and performance management.
• Define and implement SRE best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders regarding project priorities.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects that meet business requirements.
• Oversee operational support for production systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience with a degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years in management roles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with a major cloud provider, especially AWS.
• Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks.
• Experience in cyber security and applicable standards.
