Director, Revenue Accounting - Remote

Overview

Outreach is seeking an experienced Director, Revenue Accounting to join our Revenue Operations team. This role involves daily revenue operations and improvement for automation, assisting with contract review, month-end close procedures, and ASC 606 compliance analyses.

In Short

• Oversee Quote-to-Cash processes for the Finance organization.
• Manage revenue and quote-to-cash operations including order management and collections.
• Guide strategy and policy around payment frequency and billing terms.
• Partner with business systems teams regarding billing and revenue recognition systems.
• Help manage revenue and billing systems automation and optimization.
• Build relationships with stakeholders for non-routine transactions.
• Manage monthly financial close tasks related to revenue.
• Perform SSP calculations and analysis.
• Review non-standard revenue contracts for accounting impact.
• Collaborate with finance departments for ad hoc research and reporting.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 8-12 years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in SaaS.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience in enterprise software and SaaS industries.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• CPA certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
