Senior Group Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Group Accountant will engage directly with the finance departments of international subsidiaries and contribute to the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.

In Short

• Direct communication with finance departments of international subsidiaries.
• Participation in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Support subsidiaries in preparing HBII financial statements.
• Conduct consolidation steps for the preparation of the consolidated financial statement.
• Comment on business developments and assist in external reporting.
• Collection and analysis of financial data.

Requirements

• Training as an industrial clerk with additional qualifications (e.g., accountant, business economist) or a degree in accounting, finance, controlling, or similar fields.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and initial knowledge of US GAAP.
• Several years of practical experience in finance or controlling.
• Experience in SAP FI and SEM BCS is ideal.
• Strong problem-solving skills, persuasive and assertive personality.
• High self-motivation, independence, and teamwork skills.
• Foreign language skills, especially good English skills.
