Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The main responsibility of the Project Manager is to manage all aspects of a project (time, scope and budget) and establish relationships with the client, effectively communicating the status and requirements of the project, to ensure the success of the design and execution.

• Manage all project communications between the client and the Optel teams.
• Responsible for all project planning and execution.
• Gather critical information for project specifications.
• Provide strategic guidance for project delivery.
• Assess risks and costs associated with the project.
• Understand or prepare specifications and quotes based on customer needs.
• Monitor the design of the solution with stakeholders.
• Participate in project review meetings.
• Prepare, review, or approve technical documents.
• Manage customer relationships and project support issues.

Requirements

• Project management qualification or a degree in engineering, science or related technical background.
• Relevant technical experience of at least 5 years.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• Effective organizational skills for tasks and priorities.
• Good judgment regarding project aspects.
• Excellent team building skills.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new technologies.
• Some travel may be required.
