Software Engineer I - Remote

In Short

• Contribute to the development of our product portfolio, built with Java, Docker, Amazon Web Services, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with business and technical professionals across the organization in an Agile framework.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, assist in integration testing, and document software best practices.
• Continue to learn new tools and languages with internal training budgets.

Requirements

• Experience interpreting and refining technical issues into requirements for large-scale projects.
• At least 1 year of Java or similar experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services technologies; ECS/EKS experience a plus.
• 1+ years of experience with Test-driven Development (TDD).
• 1+ years of experience building Restful APIs and consuming 3rd party APIs.
• Experience with Event Driven Development and Domain Driven Design are a plus.
• Experience with Terraform, CI, Kubernetes, and Docker are a plus.
• Git experience preferred.
