Senior Infrastructure Engineer - AI/ML - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a fully remote, experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at OpenTeams. Our models are energy-efficient, cost-effective, and fully yours, designed to support AI/ML workflows.

In Short

• Contribute to the evolution of Nebari and design reusable, modular infrastructure components.
• Develop composable MLOps components and infrastructure patterns.
• Implement observability and cost optimization strategies for AI/ML workloads.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to optimize infrastructure for training ML models.
• Contribute to open-source MLOps tooling.
• Work with clients to deploy and optimize their AI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with a fully remote distributed team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on infrastructure/platform/DevOps experience.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure engineering principles.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Helm).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and/or Go.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and GitOps workflows.
• Comfortable working independently and in distributed teams.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Available for collaboration during overlap with US Central Time zone.
