Overview

As a Senior Database Engineer at Opensend, you will design, optimize, and maintain scalable database solutions for our applications, collaborating closely with developers to ensure high performance and reliability.

In Short

Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
Implement and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
Write efficient queries and stored procedures.
Develop back-end data processing logic using Python.
Collaborate with front-end developers for data integration.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure database solutions follow industry standards.
Work with DevOps teams for cloud database deployment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of experience in database engineering.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular.
Understanding of database performance tuning.
Experience with cloud-based databases.
Proficiency in SQL database architectures.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
