Product Tech Lead - Remote

Overview

As a Product Tech Lead at OpenProject, you will bridge software engineering, product management, and leadership to create a product that meets user needs effectively.

• Own new product initiatives from problem definition to launch.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and launching digital products end-to-end.
• A strong product mindset focused on the 'why' and 'for whom' of building.
• Senior-level experience in software engineering, ideally with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience applying product management methodologies like agile and design thinking.
• Ability to quickly prototype ideas and collaborate with developers.
• Strong written communication skills and fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Leadership that fosters psychological safety and constructive challenge.
• Curiosity and openness to experimentation in discussions with peers.
